Automated Packaging Associate
We are a fast-moving national leader in the growing state-legal cannabis industry that empowers our people to be innovative, creative and always focused on creating meaningful relationships with our customers. We currently operate in 8 states with plans to grow our team and footprint from 200 staff today to nearly 800 across 11 states within a year. We need hands-on professionals who enjoy rolling up their sleeves and working hard with an incredible diverse team. The cannabis industry is rapidly changing, and we have interesting and complex problems to solve everyday.
The Packaging Technician is responsible for packaging all products that use the automated packaging machines as well as provide ongoing operational support to the Production team.
Essential Job Functions
Manufacture and label branded medical and adult use cannabis products and containers
Learns, interacts, and troubleshoots various industrial machinery and equipment that assists in the automated packaging process
Completes quality assurance checks on product numeracy and consistency
Works alongside other production departments and assists when necessary
Thoroughly cleans machinery, hand tools, containers, and production equipment in accordance with Massachusetts adult use and medical cannabis regulations
Communicates effectively with other departments while adhering to deadlines and production schedules set forth by the Automated Packaging Manager
Stores and organizes finished cannabis products in compliance with Massachusetts adult use and medical cannabis regulations
● Must be 21 years old
● Must be able to pass a background check
● Eligible to work in the United States
High level observation skills/ attention to detail
Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively
Self-starter and self-motivator
Good organization and time management skills
Willing to work on a “hands on” basis and contribute positively in a growing company environment
